Anyways I make every member feel at home.
I write each one a welcome letter thus all the letter are unique.
I also go out of my way to use themes they don't hurt my member's eyes or whatever.
And I make sure everyone is having a great time.
I read all the post if I can and add my 2 cents.

Its the sense of family that will make people come back of more and will help you retain your current members and keep them active.

Ok now lets get on topic.

That actually sound like a good idea, but I wouldn't go overboard with it.
